How Do Mutations Work?
Mutations are special qualities that brainrots can spawn with in Be Flash For Brainrots. A mutated brainrot earns significantly more income than its base version — the multiplier is applied directly to the brainrot's base income per second.
Natural Mutations (Gold, Diamond, Rainbow)
These mutations appear randomly as you dash through zones. When you see a mutation icon pop up on your screen, tap it quickly before it disappears to apply the mutation to your next brainrot find.
Event Mutations (Candy, Lava, Blizzard, Lightning, Hacker)
These higher-tier mutations only appear during random 10-minute events that occur periodically in the game. You can also trigger events manually from the events podium using Robux. During an event, look for mutation icons that appear as you run.
Stacking Rules
When a brainrot has multiple mutations, the multipliers stack additively (not multiplicatively). For example, Gold (1.5x) + Diamond (2x) = 3.5x total multiplier.
Mutation Tips
Prioritize Event Mutations
Always participate in mutation events when they appear — event mutations (4x-8x) are far more valuable than natural ones (1.5x-3x).
Save Mutations for Rare Brainrots
Try to apply your best mutations to high-rarity brainrots for maximum income. A Hacker (8x) mutation on a Legendary brainrot is worth far more than on a Common one.
Watch for the Horizon Mutation
The Horizon mutation is the rarest in the game. Its multiplier is still TBA — keep an eye out for updates as this could be the most powerful mutation yet.
Stay Online During Events
Event mutations have a timer. Make sure you are actively running through zones during the event window to maximize your chances of getting high-tier mutations.
